The Human Resources Programme of the CIBERER is designed as the internal strategy for endowing the different research groups with the critical mass of scientific and technical staff required to be able to ensure stability for the priority research lines of the CIBERER’s Research Programmes. The human resources forming the CIBERER are its most valuable asset, as they include researchers, technical staff and managers expert in around 200 rare pathologies.
We have a young, professional, dynamic and diverse team able to successfully face up to the current and future challenges of research into Rare Diseases. Innovation, teamwork, flexibility and quality in our endeavours are the salient features of our daily work.
This consortium has meant a watershed in research due to the increase in human resources in research into Rare Diseases. The CIBERER covers over 900 researchers including contracted personnel and attached staff in the research groups.
Diversity is an added value as this enables us to tackle our processes from different angles. In this respect, over 80% of the professionals have a higher education qualification (50% have a doctorate).
